Hi All,
Sorry for no updates lately. What happened was when I came back from Costa Rica my perspective kind of changed. Spending 2 weeks on an organic tropical farm will do that to you. I've also been in the middle of moving recently. I haven't moved in 11 years, so there's a lot of crap to go through!
On the QueenofScreen front, I talked to the production company last week and we're changing gears from TV back to feature film. So I need to dust off my old treatment that I started working on last fall. I'd be flattered if anything was made based on my book...TV show, movie, etc. I'll pass on the porn version, though. Although, I've heard from different people that my pic is being used as girls' profile pics on various naughty sites. Don't know what to do about that.
Anyhow, so we're back to square one with the feature film idea, so pls send in your suggestions. I need to dig through my archive here and see what people said before.

Good Luck!
Stuck in "development hell" comes to mind...
yep, that's how I'm feeling right now...hopefully will find its way to "Development Heaven" by the end of the year.
If I think of something I will let you know in the interim we have Maslow's Hierarchy and the Serenity Prayer to get us through the day.
After 13 years in the Marine Corps, Brian Iglesias was ready to embark on a dream career in filmmaking. Prepared to pay his dues, he worked the phones, sent e-mails, and paid visits. But all he ran into were dead ends. "Not too long ago I was leading over 225 Marines in landslide relief operations in the Philippines," he says. But "I had to beg people to let me intern. Only my friends were willing to give me work."

A success poem that encourages you to keep on keeping on.
DON'T QUIT
by Edgar A. Guest
When things go wrong, as they sometimes will,
when the road you're trudging seems all uphill,
when the funds are low and the debts are high,
and you want to smile but you have to sigh,
when care is pressing you down a bit - rest if you must,
but don't you quit.
Life is queer with its twists and turns.
As everyone of us sometimes learns.
And many a fellow turns about when he might have won had he stuck it out.
Don't give up though the pace seems slow - you may succeed with another blow.
Often the goal is nearer than it seems to a faint and faltering man;
often the struggler has given up when he might have captured the victor's cup;
and he learned too late when the night came down,
how close he was to the golden crown.
Success is failure turned inside out - the silver tint of the clouds of doubt,
and when you never can tell how close you are,
it may be near when it seems afar;
so stick to the fight when you're hardest hit - it's when things seem worst,
you must not quit.
:-)

Inside a flight attendant's not-so-glam life

The prescription for this mess is quite simple really; forgive if you have been wronged. Make amends if you have wronged others.
Peace!
