My Blog Imposter on the New Journalspace

Hello All,

I haven't Googled my name in a long time, but I just did and found a blog (posing as me, I suppose. I didn't read far enough) popped up first. Could someone please tell me how to fix this? queenofsky.journalspace.com is NO LONGER my blog! Journalspace.com crashed and then was relaunched, as you all may recall. I don't have time for this drama.

This is my ONLY blog now! (queenoscreen.com, that is. If you're reading this on FB, it's being imported as a note.)

I'm afraid to look at my Wikipedia page, but if someone could check over there for malicious crap, I'd appreciate it.

Many thanks!

-Ellen

Ok, I’m Not Really Queen of the Sky….

Alright, here we go.

I’m not the original - and now infamous - Queen of the Sky. I’m not even female or gay - so therefore I’m not a queen at all. Maybe I should call myself the King of the Sky? Hmmm……. maybe not!

I am a Flight Attendant though. That’s pretty much all me and the previous ‘owner’ of this site have in common. I’ve just grabbed this web address because it’s been left abandoned, despite it still being popular.

Such a shame to see a good website go to waste right……

Well, I won’t be risking being fired here. I will NEVER share my name, or the airline I work for, or any photos or videos I’ve taken at work. Then I know I’ve done nothing wrong!

Look out soon for my diary.

I am not an imposter. I have never pretended to be you - neither do I intend to in the future.

I have emailed you a few days ago regarding this matter.

Kind regards,

Kevin

Just wanted to say hello. I read your book recently and I enjoyed it very much. Are you still looking for someone to take you out when you travel, as you mentioned in your book? I am a gay Puerto Rican living in the ATL. Not sure if you ever come here, but if you do, I will take you out. I am fun and harmless. I was fascinated (not obsessed, so don't worry) by you after reading your book. Anyhow, I will be reading this blog now to see what you are upto these days. I am a bit behind since I left you at the end of your book. (I finished the book today. My boss recommended it. I am a Chemist so nothing in common with the airline industry. He lives in The Netherlands and he claims that KLM FA are cuter than Delta. I disagreed after seeing your photos [that got you in trouble]. :-)

Hi Ellen,

After all this time I stumbled upon your blog while decommissioning an old PC where your old blog was bookmarked. I used to follow your blog daily in the few months after Delta dumped their most glamorous flight attendant. Often I have speculated that if they [the Delta executives] had collectively had as much intelligence and imagination as the average rock they would have embraced you as a mascot/brand-enhancer, and might now be a major international carrier instead of the very modest domestic outfit they continue to be.

The Wikipedia page about you is fine. Seems accurate and unbiased. It's actually a pity it doesn't feature the sexy but nonetheless tasteful pictures that got you fired. You looked really hot back then.

I hope this imposter hasn't diminished your appetite for blogging (but I suspect it has). Looking forward to a new post soon but until then I'll follow your exploits on FB.

What I took from this post is that you should always finishing reading to really find out what's going on. Meaning if you only read a few lines and then post a blog post about it you can't really know the whole truth. Been there done that, but lesson learned here again.
