Off to L.A.

Well, I'm off to L.A. next week for a screenwriting seminar. Very excited about that.

Meanwhile, I've almost finished my pilot script. I'm trying to figure out a way to post it, or at least parts of it here for feedback. If anyone has a suggestion, let me know. It's currently a Word doc, but I could probably figure out how to convert it to a PDF.

Hello All,

So, for research purposes I rented the first season of Mile High (British show) recently. I finally got around to watching it last week and barely made it through the first episode! It's soft porn disguised as a soap opera about flight attendants. And all the flight attendants are portrayed as whores, thieves or drug dealers! Really a crap show!

Speaking of shows about flight attendants, I'm currently writing the pilot script for my show idea :) I'm really excited about it. My screenwriting class really got me motivated to finally do it. And next week I'm off to L.A. to an intensive screenwriting seminar. Fun times!

Back in Business!

Sorry for the blog lag, guys. I have been meaning to post, but for some reason never got around to it.

In my screenwriting class the other day we were working on log lines (1-3 line film synopses). In my eagerness to be concise I sacrificed comprehension:

In search of balance, a self-described "dysfunctional" flight attendant starts a blog that ends up throwing her life into complete disarray.

The other students (and teacher) didn't understand my concept. Let me know if you think this is better:

A flight attendant starts a light-hearted blog to navigate her "dysfunctional" life. When her employer discovers it, however, her whole world is turned upside down.

I appreciate your feedback, as it's really hard to find the plot of your own life :-O
